Harassment In and Out of the Studio

What is harassment and what are best practices when there is a harassment allegation?
Wednesday, June 6 | 2:00pm – 4:00pm
California Community Foundation’s Joan Palevsky Center | Conference Room

Employment laws regarding sexual harassment have been in place since 1986. Recent attention on the issues of harassment in the workplace, including the entertainment industry, have caused employers to reevaluate their compliance with harassment laws and review best practices when dealing with potential harassment situations. This interactive workshop will focus on providing a general understanding of Federal sexual harassment law and best practices if there is an allegation of harassment.

Does your organization have a harassment policy? Is your harassment policy up to date? What are the steps if a harassment claim is filed? These and other questions will be explored.

Join Sue Porter, Esq an employment lawyer turned Executive Director of BalletMet in Columbus, Ohio as she leads this important and timely session. Sue has 30 years of experience working with clients on harassment issues and defending employers in harassment lawsuits.

RSVP Requested. On-site registration dependent on availability.
